Design Philosophy
I design with purpose.
Whether I am curating an interior or designing an event, I focus on cohesion, balance, texture, and timeless appeal. I believe great design lives in the details-how colors interact, how materials feel together, and how the overall space tells a story.
My work leans toward:
Elevated, curated aesthetics
Thoughtful layering of textures, prints and materials
Quality over quantity
Intentional design decisions that feel cohesive not chaotic
I don’t follow trends blindly - I interpret them in a way that feels refined and enduring.
My Standards of Design
Design standards are not limitations-they are what allow a project to feel intentional and elevated.
When you hire Peacock & Lola, you are hiring me for my professional eye, experience, and ability to guide your project towards its best possible version. For that reason, I maintain certain standards across all projects.
This means:
I prioritize cohesive design over “mixing everything just because”
I am selective about materials, finishes, florals, furnishing, and tableware, etc.
I focus on creating a polished final result even when working within a budget
I may advise against design choices that compromise the overall aesthetic
Budget-conscious does not mean visually compromised. I believe beautiful design can exist at many investment levels-but it must still be intentional
A Note on Budget & Investment
I respect budgets, and I design them every day.
However, my role is not to simply say “yes” to every request-it is to guide you toward choices that elevate your space or event rather than dilute it. Sometimes that means recommending fewer elements done well, instead of many elements done cheaply.
If something doesn’t align with my design standards, I will always offer thoughtful alternatives that achieve a similar feeling while remaining cost-conscious.

When I May Not Be the Right Fit
And that’s truly okay-truly.
I may not be the best fit if:
You are looking for the simplest or most minimal setup with little emphasis on design
Disposable or purely utilitarian elements are your top priority

Design aesthetics are secondary to convenience alone
